Default Another option for alky kit

I was at at the shop last week getting some tuning done and Rob showed me a new alky kit that he is using. I thought some of you guys might be interested in seeing another option. I doubt they are a supporting vendor, so I might be violating rules by posting a link but I am not sure what the protocol is. You can always PM me if necessary.

Anyway here it is:

http://www.coolingmist.com/

This kit looks really well thought out and put together. Installation is a snap and you can still use your WW reservoir. The cool part about this system is that it is fully controllable. It uses a high speed control valve to regulate flow. The pump always runs at max pressure. Via a laptop you can regulate how much alky you want to spray based upon boost level, RPM, A/F etc.

I am currently using the ECS/Julio kit and it works well, but the cooling mist kit seems to take it a step further. Anyway thought some of you guys might be interested.

Does the pump run all the time, even when not in boost?

I am not sure, I just got a brief crash course on the system and spent most of my time checking out the software. You might check the website or contact the mfg.

BTW, like my first post stated I am running the ECS/Julio kit, I am just suggesting this as another option.

Be sure to contact Andy at A&A Corvette for questions or details about these rear trunk mounted systems he now offers.

Interesting kit! I don't know if the system as a whole is better, but that is one Very Nice Controller on it! It's digital and looks to have a fast response time and a bunch of options for controlling the spray.

I watched the video's on their site and they said that when it shuts off, it's shut off, "Unlike their Competitor's which takes 15-20 seconds"

Not my wording, that was theirs.

I have the ECS/Alky control kit and it's worked well for me and I have to say that Julio has some of the Best Customer Service around!
