Default Blower cam?

Thinking about upgrading to forced induction this winter. I'm looking at buying a procharger system (P1sc) intercooled and installing a cam while I have the steering rack out to install the crank pin kit. What would be a good blower cam? The car would need to remain daily drivable and will see some occasional trips to the track (dragstrip). Any ideas? I'm wanting a good reliable setup that will take some abuse.

I think that the ECS blower cam would be a great option with your setup.

I would like to see a before and after dyno with the blower cam. It would be nice to have a little more torque on the bottom end.

Questions, Are all ECS blower cams for the 347 equal? Or can it be ordered with just a pinch of lope?

I have heard the rumor they do not run that much lift? So is it possibly to run a lighter spring than the .650 lift springs I run now? I hate the valve chatter I hear with my .58X/.59X

Thanks

ECS Blower cam.

My car is cam only with headers for now and it makes power like it was an NA cam. I sometimes wonder if they sent me the right cam There is a very slight lope at idle so you can tell that something is there, but it drives like stock. I hope to add a blower soon and see what this cam really does. Pick the ECS cam and you won't be disappointed.

Stephen at England Green is installing his Whiplash cam in my P1SC/LG LT equipped mn6 next month. Car is currently 433 rwhp. Whiplash is a pretty hot cam, but Sephen feels confident that, when correctly tuned, its entirely streetable. "Cajundude" has an excellent Whiplash install pic series and vid. Cam upgrade will include new springs and larger updated intercooler. Will post before and after dyno #'s soon. Good luck w/your new set up.

Where in the curve was that 70/77 gained?

When I asked for dyno curves I should have been more specific. I would like to see a supercharged car with a before and after. I am running the ECS Novi, making 568 rwhp, and would like to pick up a little more torque in the lower mid range. It already pulls like a raped ape in the upper range.

Thanks

I honestly dont know, I havent seen the graph... he is on the forum I will PM him to chime in.

This is my ECS Cam dyno results... these are preliminary still... I have to do some tuning and get that A/F straightened out.

I know squat about cam selection this is why I have many questions. But if I read a thread back a while ago correctly. I think Andy (A&A) swapped out a standard LS1 camshaft with an LS7 cam and gained almost 100rwhp. Obviously I`m probably not telling the hole story and boost levels may vary as I dont know the WS6 boost# or remember the boost in the car Andy did and the mod info off hand. Makes this winter project confusing and I`m keep going back and forth.

I`m down to 3 cams (And I know all will preform great)

Sorry guys, just been crazy busy but I will try and answer some questions here. The cam is smaller than most others. Its well under 600 lift and well under 230 duration. It took us about 6-8 different cams before we settled on this one. The cam drives almost like stock but makes very nice power. It will easily make over 800 on a 346 with a decent head and our Paxton kit. Not only does it drive awesome and make hude numbers on the dyno but we have great track results as well. We have our 346 cars running 9.7's with this cam and stock bottom end cars with Stock LS1 heads running mid 10's. Dougs car with Trick Flows is a full weight vert with a 346 Paxton and although we never got a full pass it went 117.5 in the 1/8. To my knowledge its one of the fastest street cars here. We can run this cam with 918 springs under 10 pounds of boost and over that we run 921 springs because of the cylinder pressure. Any questions at all feel free to give us a call..
