I can't tell you if it's the best or not, but I just put in a couple of tees where the vacuum source taps into the brake booster to feed the BAP and the BOV. It works well enough to get me the what's in my sig.

All vacuum sources come from the intake manifold anyway....so whereever is handiest for you.
I wouldnt use a vac source for boost control. Take it from the compressor cover, or boost plumbing close to it.
