Default Texas Mile Run

I know most of you junkies do not venture into C5 General and most only care about the 1/4, I am not the best driver in the 1/4 as I do not want to break everytime I go (I did my first 4 times after being boosted), so I decided on the easy launching mile. It was a blast and check out my general thread as this is something that is just as legal and fun as when I run the 1/4

Glad to hear you had fun, and congrats on the 180 mph run. Get her fixed and get back out there.

Sounds like fun. Of course, anytime you can use your HP without getting a ticket is fun. Where in Texas is this at? And what was the fastest speed?

Goliad Texas at an retire Naval Air Station about 110 miles South East of San Antonio, our departure area, and we were in the middle of nothing

The fastest we saw out of a car was 224 out of a non Streetable Viper and it had fins on the rear fendors and was sweet and 3 or 4 bikes over 220

Jim, Thanks on the promts on the run What I did not post in C5 General was not for them and I will post here for us in the FI Section

My Six Rib A&A Setup is more than maxed out, how do I know? With 6k on the belt I put it on the Dyno and got belt slip at 6300 and eked out 749 with my new AR Headers. No issues at all with alignment and running below that and we all know that our engines still run and need the 6700 or so to shift at. On my second run I pushed 3rd and 4th to 6500 and I did get the belt slip and shifted earlier than I wanted. When this happened it made my car jerk a little and the RPM Flutter, same as on the DYNO so I knew what was going on. When this happened it put me out of the peak RPM band and was the real reason I quit after two runs, though a 3 hour wait was excessive. Winter Mods 8 rib setup and more boost only saw 11 lbs on my forged setup and I want to turn up the wick with a new setup

Add some funny juice to it with your boost increase and you should hit 200 mph no problem. Then you can join the 200 mph club.

That will be later after want to see what the 8 rib setup first will do, not ready for a new motor, not trying to break the 346 record in the mile, just having fun and enjoying the legal mile
