4500ft elevation, what compression?

4500ft elevation, what compression?
I live at 4500ft elevation and want to pick the best compression for a 402-416ci.
I currently have a sts turbo upgraded gt32 but think I may go back to a supercharger down the road....because I like a loud exhaust when wot.
I dont want it to be a dog off boost.
I plan to run 15-18# of boost.
Also if I drive the car to sea level....will I have problems?

9:1 for that much boost or even 8.8.
Run a supercharger at 15# at 4500 feet elevation and you'll pick up about 5-6 psi at sea level. The STS turbos dont have that problem cause of the wastegate.
