Default ECBM problems with stinger hood

everytime I get stuck in the rain the ECBM wiring gets wet and codes.

so far, I've ruined one ECBM box, and am having problems again.

I don't intentionally drive the car in the rain but every now and then I get caught. have the same problem washing the car unless I cover the wiring and box with a towel and really take it easy around the front of the car and hood with the water spray.

I'm wondering if there isn't some way to shield the wiring and box from the water without causing other problems?? any ideas?? maybe some heat shrink or a coating of some kind around the wiring and connectors. looking for others that may have had this problem and any ideas on how to solve it.

love the hood but this problem is annoying.

I have actually sprayed mine with water ( the computer) and neverhad an issue. I have sprayed it with anti corrosion and and silicone spray to keep it from corrioding and so forth. I betyou may have a gasket issuse at one of the plug ins???

I would think you cant bag it or wax coat ( like LPS ) due to heat and the computer needed to dissapate heat.

I would think it shouldnt be that fussy...
