Default Considering Maggie.......Need Info

How much HP are these capable of making on a stock long block? What mods or add-ons can be done to the MP112 to increase efficiency? By the time I do this I will have a cam for it also. Would like to see 550-600 RWHP out of a daily driver. Thanks

600rwhp would be pushing the limit of a maggie, but also pushing the limit of your stock short block as well. In stock form an ls1 w/ a maggie should make between 450-475. You can do a 90mm snout and tb and throw a smaller pulley on to make more boost. Then I would use an aftermarket intercooler pump to drop iats back down. w/ a cam I would imagine 550 to be a reasonable number. Alot of people have made 550+ but I wouldnt expect to make to much more than that unless you put alot of money in it. which you would have to w/ any system because you would need a forged bottom end.

I don't think an aftermarket intercooler pump will do anything. Have you ever put your finger in the coolant tank after driving? The problem is the thin intercooler under the blower. You almost need a way to chill it for it to do any good.

If you want 600 RWHP, then see if someone will sell you a MP122 kit. IT will be easier to get 600. You will have some hood clearance issues in the back of the hood, but someone good with body work should be able to get around that.

RJW swapped the pump and logged it, Iats dropped pretty good. Also used a diffrent heat exchanger out front. if you search you can find alot of good stuff about increasing maggie efficiency.

Hard to do and keep it a DD. You will have to pulley down to 9 psi, go 90mm TB, Heads, Cam and run meth to get around 550 rwhp.

stock engine + maggie at 550 ~ 600 rwhp = not very dependable DD
you can get close to 600 rwhp with a maggie but the stock bottom end will give up on you.
I'm living that now and I drive my car a lot but at the same time I'm expecting to replace the stock block at any time.
