To make the responses to this thread more useful, you may want to know how much boost is being run, what heads/cam are on the car (some heads can take more timing it seems), if static compression has been changed, what meth/water mix (if any), and what grade of gasoline the car regularly runs.

My money is on an average of 4-6 degrees of timing and 25-35hp depending on boost, compression, and octane for 100% methanol.

It's not about how much total timing you can run. But rather what's the least amount of timing which allows you to make the most amount of horsepower while still being safe. Often times, when working with water methanol injection, we will reach a point where adding additional timing no longer increases horsepower. Yet we are still able to advance timing further without the engine knocking for example.

Not really sure what the timing was prior to meth, but I run 19 degrees. This is on a 347ci 9.0cr motor with 15lbs boost. I tried to run it higher, but it didn't make any really noticeable power gains above this.
