Largest headers availible???
Whats the largest headers availible. Im looking to find some 2inch mains with 3.5 inches out the back, and run 3.5 inch tubes all the way to the back of the car where i will have an electronic switch gate... one option will be my nice quiet stock exhaust, and the other option is 3.5 inch straight pipes out the back. Ill get the car tuned in straight pipe mode, and then keep it in quiet mode 90 percent of the time until someone wants to race. Who makes the largest headers, and/or whats the largest that anyone has made. Im running 17psi at 6500 rpm into a stroked 383 ls6 with 245cid ETP heads and 90 mm tb intake... and im losing power after 6000 rpm due to suspected exhaust resistance. No cats obviously. I think Jeff(American HP) got Kook's to make some 2" headers for his car. BUT-I like your thinking on the 3.5" collectors and mid pipes all the way back. I think by going to a 3" collector where in essence just choking it off. Maybe Jeff could chime in?
