Titanium Rods and Boost
Well I am serioulsy contemplating purchasing a new Z06 and installing a APS kit on it. I am planning on lowering the compression ratio and have no problem replacing the rods with some nice forged units. The question I have is does anyone really know the limits of the stock LS7 titanium rods? I really would like to keep the stock rods but obviously I would like to know there limits since I will most likely be trying to make at least 1K+rwhp and I really dont want to ventilate the block.

I think a lot of builders replace the titanium rods because although they're light and strong for what they are... they are also very brittle. So I think if you throw enough power at them of if you get some detonation they can break on you.
If you're going for 1k at the wheels you better go with some billet beauties... and pray that the block holds together.
