PD blowers have their place, i just dont' like them in vettes personally
centrifugals JBS and a few others get away with em... on road courses, on the street I like my paxton more than the turbos easier to pedal with the inherent loss of traction with a 346.....stroker even worse and more important.
front mounts + stroker? instant tire smoke on street and a hard time to get down the strip.
rear mounts, I had enough headaches with them, but honestly........my rear mount STS at 710 ran faster down the track than jersey jay's car because I could put the power down in 3rd and 4th and his car was still skating with 26 inch M/T's on the back.
Everything has its place, but my pick right now is paxton 346 forged for street, drag, and possibly backup road course if last minute stuff goes on with the NA car and its the difference of going or not (if doug tunes it I'll have half a clue what it makes) and his old 427 C5R rebuilt with LS7 top end and a lil more compression for road course, open road stuff (silver state is becoming a serious consideration), and boredom with juice (who cares what it makes, short shifting at 5300 I was shooting down teh straights faster than my 710/640 sts car because it wasn't pulling timing from heat issues.

Forced induction via cent. supercharger, roots blower or twin turbo, on a forged 346/7 motor (no need for the extra thousands for a stroker, to run well into the 9s or even 8s in some cases) and kick azz on the street and road race venues also!
