It's just as loud as any F-series. It' because all the oil slingers on the F series blowers sit "ontop" of the gearcase instead of inside the gear case.

The D1SC will get you 750+ on a 347, maybe 850 on a 402. That's rwhp too so I definitely wouldn't call that week!

Yes the D1 is quieter. There are bunch of folks here with over 700 rwhp with a D1. PeterPan, Mike-C5, Johncbourg are just a few and there not even pushing the combo's yet! Jim ECS blown Z06 just did a forged 347motor-if and when he decides to push it he'll make some Jam too! A forged 347, some good AFR heads and nice healthy cam should make over 800.

I found that using a smaller z06 cam with my old D1 brought the torque on alot harder which helped my car to ET a lot faster. I would consider sacraficing some peek gains for a little more power under the curve.

I am now putting a Novi head unit on the girl friends car. I decided to go with a more aggressive cam as the Novi head unit seems to mph beter. I would have loved to try out that F series blower but no experience there.
