Like others already said, most of our installs use the washer tank, keep in mind though if your going to fab up a tank it needs to be made from stainless steel.

I have been considering relocating my battery to the rear passenger side compartment (side benefit will help traction, anybody spraying meth has traction issues 
) & installing plastic meth reservoir in front battery area. Below is a link to some plastic 2.5 gallon tanks along with a low level sensor that could be installed. Has anybody has done this???...Any opinions on the downside of installing in this arrangement???

thanks for all the info guys and the pictures with details to show how to. The only reason I think I'm going to go with using the windsheild water reservoir is I have a boom box in the hole of the trunk and wouldn't feel safe to have a meth kit just behind my seat.
