Just finished up installing my SPA Boost/Fuel Pressure Gauge.
Fuel Pressure reading just fine.
Boost is reading -6.x at idle and reads down to -12 at about 5K rpm. Something is wacky. I reset the gauge numerous times. My boost sender is tapped off the brake booster hose.
OK, well I am familiar with boost and knew that part of it, but mine is reading something weird. I'll try the manual when I get it running again...I mean if I get it running again.

Hi guys,
Myself and Matt R. CEO of SPA FULLY stand behind these gauges. Any issues, we will handle it. If the boost is all over the place under load, we may have to "dumb down" the gauge due to the sampling rate etc..
From Matt in the Archives:
Because of the high quality microprocessors and sensors we use in all our gauges and instruments, it requires a bit of fine-tuning to fit the needs of the individual users.
One area that we receive feedback is the sensitivity of our gauges. Because of the speed our instruments receive and deciphers data from it sensors, and displays it on the screen, our gauges often appear to be reading “sporadically”.
This is most common with the pressure sensors. The fix is easy. But does require time and understanding, and experimenting with a few different settings.
Going into the program mode and getting to the setting “At” can accomplish this. The “At” code stands for “averaging time”. Normally the gauge will come with a factory setting on 0.1. This means that every 0.1 of a second the gauge is reading and deciphering the information from the sensor to the gauge, thus displaying the pressure on the LED screen. Boost pressure changes quickly in a vehicle, while oil pressure is normally more stable. So a setting of 0.1 while measuring oil pressure is normally fine and won’t fluctuate as much. However, boost would at the same setting would fluctuate much more quickly and often, making it difficult to see exactly where your boost is.
You can find an explanation of this setting on page 15 of the user manual. We recommend when measuring pressure to try setting this “At” setting to 0.4 and start the vehicle to see if this setting works for you. If still you see too much of a fluctuation you can increase this setting higher until the gauge settles down to a comfortable setting and the readings are easier for you to read.
Like all of our products, should you any questions, comments or concerns you can always call one of our technicians at SPA Technique Inc. for assistance.
Thank you for choosing SPA Technique Inc. for your instrument needs.
Good advice on the "average time", I started messing around with it afterwards and makes the gauge much more pleasant to read. Absolutely love all the options and features it comes with, totally bada$$ gauge!!! Thanks for the quick shipping as well

I am glad you love it, everyone that has gotten 1 from has the same feeling...
If anyone wants to get one, paypal $299 to:
sales at fiperformance.com
If you need the brass fittings, 18" -4an to 1/8" npt fuel line to get the sensor off the rail near the brake booster, add $40.
Color Options:
Red or Green backlit LCD (switchable)
or Blue LCD only.
Plenty ready to go directly from SPA for the latest hardware. Here is their gauge line-up, don't look at their pricing, it is way off. If you want to get something other than fp/boost, give me the gauge number. As always, going with some sort of multi piece package save you a few bucks.
