Whiplash Cam and associated components were ordered yesterday. Thank you for your business - it is greatly appreciated!

I can’t tell you how fecking happy I am with my car. I had spent months researching the price an availability of an ‘06/’07 VR vert that would have been the basis for an EG-built forged 7L Novi 2000 C6 wide body. I had braced myself for the considerable expense and even though I like the C5 design better than C6, it seemed like the natural evolution for a true enthusiast. In the months since the Whiplash install and re-tune, I’ve had a hard time justifying the expense associated with the C6 project. At 507 rwhp, my vert is not the fastest car around, but in a roll-on there are very few cars that can keep up with it. An occasional hyper-ricer will outrun me, but hey, look what he’s driving!
Perhaps, like “madmatt” I’ll just go forged with my LS1, change heads and pump up the boost. Of course it won’t end there; intake, new intercooler, ESC bracket, meth, Textralia, etc., etc., etc. The slippery slope of expensive mod madness is especially steep when you’re starting with a nine year old car! We’ll talk again soon, but in the mean time, I love every minute behind the wheel of my EG-tuned C5.

Stephen, tell all the folks out there on the netweb what it’s like catching guys rolling down their window so that they can better hear the blown, EG-cammed vette next to them!
