Default 10 Rib Issues

I Have An Ecs Novi 2000 Kit That I Upgraded To A 10 Rib Pulley System.
I Have Had Problems With Tearing The Belt Along The Middle Of It And Also Breaking The Bearings In The Tensioner And Idler Pullies ? Does Anyone Make A Stronger Extended Tensoner And Idler Pulley ?

I don't know anything about 10 rib setups but maybe the belt is too tight? Also I would to see you 10 rib setup could you post any pictures?

CHECK OUT THE PHOTOS IN THE ABOVE LINK
THE PULLIES ARE PROPERLY ALIGNED.THE BELT IS NOT TOO TIGHT ,
IT JUST EXTENDS PAST THE WIDTH OF THE IDLER PULLEY.

I shreaded my brand new 10 ribber 2 weeks out of the box on the street, so you know I wasnt beating on her to hard. Very frustrating to say the least.

This is why you never see us advertise the 10 rib belt drive system, the wider the belt, the less variation the belt can have. Or you will have problems, it must be dead on.


If the belt was off on an idler, the shop that installed it for you could/should have called us, and we could/would have handled it for you.
