Rob I'm in an unstable situation right now so I'm trolling and waiting for my $ problems to let up. IT SUCKS WAITING AND WATCHING and if things don't improve I may have to sell my car but I'm trying my damnedest not to go that far!
What I find funny about this statement is........is a 150 extra rwhp undesired throtle responce In who's world
I spoke with Callaway and was told that early 2009 they are anticipating the release of the TVS. I'm building a 408 for it and will be putting my 112 back on until then.
When I was looking into my setup my Tuner tried talking with Callaway but gave up as they frankly didn't have a clue what they were talking about. He conversed with Magnuson on everything and got the straight scoop.
this is something i will have to look into as i am about to get the 112 upgraded to the 122 as the 112 bit the bullet yesterday, sounds like there are rocks in the blower, must be the bearings.

I did not think there were any plans to produce TVS systems for C5s?
Why would they try not to sell a more expensive product?

Ever seen the dyno curve of a large single turbo Supra? HP does not equal throttle response. I find it funny that you think more hp is akin to increase throttle response.

Yea Id trust them over Callaway any day of the week.<insert sarcasm and laughter> There's a big difference in an engineering company and a hot rod tuner. Things that are acceptable at tuner shops aren't at Callaway.

Well I was trying to be diplomatic. For your information the folks at Callaway had no idea about the stats or details on the 122H and suggested my tuner talk with Magnuson. I know Callaway is an excellent company, and this was not meant as a slam on them, but they were not up to speed on the 122 so my "hot rod" tuner (boy would he find that funny) had to talk to the manufacturer. You do know Magnuson makes the 122H.

I spoke with Mike Vendetto last week and this is what he told me. Late 2008 to early 2009. I made him repeat it! I am in the process of building a 408 for my car and was trying to decide whether to keep the 112 until the TVS comes out or sell the Maggie and buy a ECS Novi. I decided to wait for the TVS.

It's my understanding that Eaton makes the blower and Magnuson makes the vehicle specific applications. Either way, they know the blowers.

Face it...Dumbasses abound no matter where you go. Just accept it and move on!
Look in the mirror.... Youre right.

Interesting as Callaway sells a 122 on their website...hmmm I don't know what the difference of the 122H is. But if they say that the 122 isn't recommended for a small motor I would believe them. No one answered why they would steer away from selling the more expensive product.
all callaway has going for it in this case as they struck a deal to be the exclusive distributor for the corvette magnacharger wether it is a 122 or 122
