Default 325/25/20 re post

My apologies to the mods for a repost, but I have gotten more bites fishing for great white sharks in a ditch than I had with this thread in the C5 General section.

Does anyone have these size tires on the rears without mini-tubbing.

I think Andy (FLATOUT) is trying to sneak one by me to get more traction than me so he can post in this section that a 550+ rwhp car outran a 750+rwhp car

I don't think you're going to get them on without a tub. BTW, you're going to need a lot sticky tires to hold 750 rwhp.

I would be looking for some 18's and tub.

You might want to look at the Toyo R888's in 19's or MT in 18's as they are close in diameter to the 20's so you would still get the overall tire diameter.

I had 335/25 x 20's on my car w/maggie and could turn the tires on demand, absolutely no low-end traction (PS2's).

It's worth it because it will save you a lot of time and also give the hardware to relocate the shock mounts.

I currently run Michelin Pilot Sports in 325/25/20 with no rubbing issues on a 20x11 Z06 style wheel.

No tubbing or rubbing. Also run a 19.5 wheel upfront.

HAHAH WTH! How did I miss this thread

You goober LOL! I am currently running a 335 Michelin on my 18's with no minitub, so with my new 20's I just didn't want to lose too much meat so I went with the 325 Pirelli P Zero Nero.

John your car is a Missile!

Mini tub would be nice!

The only size I see advertized is a 305/35/20 which is probably too tall. I would buy if they had 305/30/20. Did you make a mistake or is this a new tire?

Do you think you'd get better traction with 325/25/20 than 305/30/20? More sidewall may be better.
