Default Updated NANO Install pics

Finished the bottle end of the Car, fabricated hatch covers utilizing the factory latches (kept the factory hatch covers intact) that allow pass through of the blow down tube, as well as cover the AMP for my new head unit (pulled the CD changer out and upgraded to a IPOD compatible head unit).

Been testing the new wiring as well so far everything works. Also add the Mirrored trunk insert (Xmas Present from the Mrs.)

This bottle is the Dynotune 10 Pound, I swapped out the bottle valve for an NX degree valve I need to clear the floor, I used the Bottle sticker supplied w/ the NANO kit.

The NANO Bottle brackets are the ones supplied w/ the kit, I had the Dynotune Billet Nitrous Bottle bracket drilled and tapped to mount the NANO to it.

Have to do some detailing of the engine compartment and will post those up later, as well I need to put the passenger interior back together.

Jim

NICE!! Let me know how it work out. Been thinking of going that route also.

On a side note, will need you to make me a new switch plate here soon. Changing it up a bit. Will only need the plate however, no switches.

Nice job.

Do you have it regulated somehow? Also, have tracks opened up to the idea and will you pass tech?

BTW Jim, I finally made that "traction control off" circuit. Testing it today and had one minor change. Let me know if you want to play ginny pig.

Should have dyno (heater vs NANO) and track times within the next two weeks.

The NANO is 4500 PSI and is factory regulated to 1050, which is supposed to give ya 1000 PSI + or - on the mainline without any heating.

Wow, that looks mean!

I hope homeland security approves. If you drive through a security checkpoint and the cops open the trunk, they might draw on you.

Very nice Beer, the NANO systems are nice. I had one for the nitrous system I had on the car previously.

Beer I'm VERY interested in the Nano setup. Any additional wiring/electronics involved, or is it just mounting and the extra N2O line... Does the Nano bottle valve stay open or is there a need for a secondary elec. bottle opener just for it? also is it recommended that a bottle heater not be used with the Nano system... I'm interested in it for 1 mile+ high speed runs... Sorry for all the questions and Thanks a ton for any wisdom you may share...

No additional electronics, you just need a Nitrous bottle that has a spare 1/8" NPT port for the NANO Check Valve. The NANO bottle has the regulator which is preset at the factory (1050 PSI I believe), if you wanted it set higher or lower they will change it for you if you if you send it in. There are no remote openers available for it yet. There is a 1/4 turn Open/Close valve option for it.

I still have a bottle heater rigged for the street and when the NANO is empty.
