EG's Whiplash cam and and pulley swap from 4.10 to 3.85 took my P1SC-equipped mn6 from 430rwhp to 507rwhp.

With my A&A cam I went from 530 rwhp to 595 rwhp, I'm sure the ECS cam would be impressive also.

I do...I could never buy a cam without knowing.

For all you know, you could be buying a cam exactly like you have already.

Not from ECS. Thats whats nice about being able to trust your vendors and tuners. I personally know all of these guys and see what goes into their R & D for these products. They go through hell to find combinations that work.

yeah then the guys take the cam specs and have comp cams grind it for them for only 200 bucks. thats why tuners dont give away cam specs... to avoid immitators and other tuner shops that will just copy them and sell them for less.

Hmm, yeah some people need to compute things like SCR and DCR too when they are building a motor.
It makes power, but I cant buy something without knowing what it is sorry. Marketing is key in this world .

with all due respect we do ask what cam a customer is presently running and if its close to ours we tell them to just leave it in there.

Please tell me who at Comp charges $200-I'll buy a dozen cams off him right now!

I have a friend that has specialized in the LSx engines since they came out. Early on, he had a head company charging around 2200 bucks for a set of heads. In the pursuit of comparable power for less money, he took one head to 2 head porters and told them to match the port work, valve jobs and flow #'s. They both matched everything and on the dyno the expensive heads still made 30 more rwhp. Can't explain it. Saying " trust me" with a highly regarded tuner / performance shop is no issue with me. If I trust them, I don't care what the heads flow as long as it gets the desired result.
