Well my 408 Iron Block is coming together, I called Chris at ECS and order the cam, he recommended the big blower cam! !

Hmm, yeah some people need to compute things like SCR and DCR too when they are building a motor.It makes power, but I cant buy something without knowing what it is sorry. Marketing is key in this world

I have a friend that has specialized in the LSx engines since they came out. Early on, he had a head company charging around 2200 bucks for a set of heads. In the pursuit of comparable power for less money, he took one head to 2 head porters and told them to match the port work, valve jobs and flow #'s. They both matched everything and on the dyno the expensive heads still made 30 more rwhp. Can't explain it. Saying " trust me" with a highly regarded tuner / performance shop is no issue with me. If I trust them, I don't care what the heads flow as long as it gets the desired result.
