Default Suspension

Hello, everyone yes i'm on here once again asking for advice... I'm trying to figure out what kind of suspension upgrades i'm going to need with the set up I have. Figured this would be the best place to get ideas and prices, I have a 99 vert 6-speed, LS1 with PTS twin turbos, T 70 Series turbos front top mount with, devils own alky kit. along with ractronix fuel pump, ken bell boost-a-pump, high flow gm performance fuel rails, 62lb fuel injectors, stock bottom end, bbk ssi intake 80mm throttlebody, centrforce dual friction clutch with aluminum fidenza flywheel, ported and slotted rotors, ceramic brake pads, b & m ripper shifter, bilstien z06/zr1 sport shocks addco front and rear sway bars, magnaflow exhaust, RK SPORT ram air hood, denso black fixed headlights, cray wheels staggard 18 in rear ,17 in front, low profile rear spoiler, high performance adjustable fuel pressure regulator, and a few minor things I can't think of right now. So what I am asking for is advice on what should i get next suspension wise or even anything else that anyone can think of any advice would be great looking to make over 600rwh hopeing to get there. My baby still isn't back from the shop yet and as soon as it gets back it is going to the body shop to get the hood and spoiler painted along with side moulding and im installing headlights advice on that from people who have installed them would be great also. So tell me what you think I should do. Will be posting pics soon and video. Turbo kit looks bad a**!!! Thanks in advance for any advice. Jason

That really depends on what you're going to use the car for.

I went all out. Pfadt Coil Overs & Sways, VBP Poly Bushings, VBP HD Tie Rod ends, Moog & Spicer Ball Joints.

I like coil overs, but they are probably over kill for the street. Best feature is the adjustability of height with the Pfadts and they have good customer support.

Jason, I think our Pfadt – Threat Level 1 – Suspension Package would be great for your application

If you're not looking for adjustable ride height and spirited driving is the cars main focus then I would suggest the following package...

Threat Level 1

Pfadt Sport Shocks
The Pfadt Sport Shocks will rid the car of the infamous rough corner nervousness that seems to plague the Corvette. The Pfadt Sport Shocks are also adjustable so you can tailor the balance between cornering performance and ride quality to suite your taste, even if your taste changes during the day. The adjustments are simple and can be changed in a matter of minutes, with no tools necessary.

Retail: $890

Pfadt Street Sway Bars
The Pfadt Street Sway Bars are the perfect sway bar for the street driven Corvette that may see one or two track days in a year. They offer a rate that is about twice what the stock sway bars are. They are also fully adjustable, so you can change the overall balance of the car to your particular setup and driving style.

Retail: $845

Hyperco HPS Leaf Springs
The Hyperco HPS Leaf Springs will give you about a 10% increase in spring rate which will lead to faster transition times from corner to corner. These are a great complement to our Street Sway Bars!

Retail: $1050

Package Price: $2685

This would be an exceptional kit for what you are describing to me. This kit will provide an obvious improvement in road holding capability over stock without noticeably impacting the ride quality of your Corvette.

We are currently working on releasing a complete list of Pfadt Race Engineering packages. So keep your eyes peeled for the release.

Please do not hesitate to call us if you have any questions!

I'd also recommend taking a look at our Sways as well, we offer our Street Sways which are about 200% stiffer than stock and our Comp "Pfatty" Sways which are about 300% stiffer than the stock bars. They are adjustable front and rear which gives you the ability to dial in your suspension.

We also make a very high quality poly control arm kit that includes the inner aluminum sleeves and our bushings are graphite impregnated which helps with the lubrication. They come with our specially formulated grease as well.

Please feel free to call or email us anytime. We appreciate your interest in our products.
