I have a problem with a plug wire on my single turbo. With a 90 or straight end it eventually burns the wire against the header.I've tried the woven insulating sleeve and header wrap and the sleeve will be next.Does anyone have a solution?Sure wish they made plugs in different lengths .
Thanks.

Is the wire burning or the boot? I had these issues with the boots on my TT setup and I found ceramic plug boots made by Jacobs. They are pricey, like $180 for a set of boots but they are good for 2000 degrees and work nicely. Summit sells them.
Great.I saw these years ago but didn't know they were still around.
Thanks

Thanks. My plug boot has barely enough room for the woven heat shield. It's that close.I'm moving up to a bigger turbo this week.I'll add some extra clearance when I get it apart
Take care.

Simply cut a small piece of sheet metal to go around the plug wire and longe enough to bolt onto something to support it
