Default APS or TTi?

Which kit is better and capable of the most power? If the TTi kit is better is it worth $1600 more than the APS kit? Has APS came out with the upgraded turbo setup yet? I know they tested it, but when will it be available. Thanks for everyones opinions. This will be going on a 408 AFR 225 headed C5ZO6

Well it'sobviously the base APS kit was not working up to snuff and needs new pipes and bigger turbos to make more power.

I would thing that the TTi X has proven itself over and over again to make the big power numbers if that's what you're looking for.

The bonus with the TTi kit is that it's made in the USA.

ttix, manifolds flow nice, tuck the turbos up closer to the engine, turbos gravity drain so no headache with pumps, 346, 800 to the wheels with pump gas + alchy on built 346 with afr heads, dr phil cam and tune. MORE power than you will ever need. I run mine at 12 psi and make 600, and it's all the nitto drags can hook, and it's plenty.

either is a good choice, but I feel there are some advantages to the ttix

can't go wrong either way, but if you want 800, ttix will get you there with less mods on that kit.

+1 for TTi and made in USA. Top notch product and service after the sale.

On the TTi website, they claim nobody has maxed out the X kit yet! Sounds like a challenge to me! See my sig for numbers on a bone stock LS6, running OEM cats.

Really?? You care to share if you are going to run the standard turbo's or the upgraded option for this challenge?

I also think out of the box the X kit will make more power. What am I saying I know it will make more power..

They are both very nice setups and both have proven they can make good power. I'd give the edge to TTi though as there are so many high powered cars running their kits.. Also you have a number of turbo options with TTi and they don't require scav pumps. They are also local (relative to over seas) .. I think that's a huge factor should replacement parts be needed down the road.

Remember it's important to compare apples to apples. You can't compare ball bearing turbos to far less expensive journal types. Same thing with that dryer hose ducting stuff compared to metal pipes.

Considering your goals I'd do the X kit with upgraded turbos.

Cheers,

Mark

Then you must be running the upgraded turbos. I think when Phil mentioned no one has maxed out the X kit turbos it was during the time when people were questioning the standard turbos. Rumor is King Pins old car ran up to 24+ psi on his old 346ci using the standard turbos...

For supercharger, you got ECS or A&A for best customer service
For turbo charger, you only get the best TTi for super customer service
