Default Transporting methanol

Is there a safe and convenient way to transport methanol when taking road trips?

What type of container?

Anything unusual I would need to consider?

Could it be there is a network of people on the forum who would be willing to sell meth as one travels?

I transport mine in a race container in the back of my truck.

If you feel unusually hot, the meth has probably ignited. You might be lucky enough to get a visual confirmation by a blue flame.

Not sure where you're travelling to, but you can always carry windshield washer fluid. It is a mixture of meth and water. Typically only 25-35% though. Water is still a viable option for lowering IAT's and preventing detonation, but you must be tuned for it.

I honestly would just stop and get it when you filled up at the gas station (Wiper solution containing meth mixture) Iv'e been running it for about 5 months with no problem.

I transport it in a "THICK" plastic container when I travel or need some later and store the main bulk in the 5 Gal jug of steel it came in

In the Vette it is in the Washer Fluid Tank for use

Thanks,Matt

Well mine is in the windshield washer tank also, but I think I am going to need more than that on a 3 or 4,000 mile trip.

You can also get denatured alcohol at any hardware store and it works fine. I used that for over a year at 600rwhp until I found a place to buy meth locally.
