Default sts tuning question

Is there anyone running the included tuning with their STS kit?
If so how do you like it? Would you think that getting a professional custom tune is worth the piece of mind, or is their tune pretty conservative and safe. I want to start out conservative, then improve the drive line(clutch, dte brace, and hardened shafts). Then eventually a forged motor. But I want start out slow and think that for my ultimate goals way down the road the sts kit will suit my needs the best. I was just wondering about the included tuning. Will it get me by for a while until I can get a better tune.

You can never go wrong getting as custom tune, as the one STS gives you is rather generic.

A tune for your particular region would be best. If you need a tune to look at I have the one I currently use on my 02 Z06 running 7lbs. I have very few issues with it as it is but Im sure a dyno tune would benefit me. Lemme know if you get HP tuners and the STS kit and I will send it to ya.

Thank you. I was just trying to gather information in order to make a more educated decision on how to proceed. I want to really make my mods the most cost effective that I can so I want to plan them out very thoroughly and not waste money or damage my car by doing any thing half arsed. Which is why I was skeptical about the generic tune.
Thank you again
Kevin
