Default Need help with procharger

I just installed MTI 241 heads and TR blower cam. Before the car made 9# of boost with a 3.5 pully old style kit. When I started it today and tuned it I was only making 5-6# of boost. What size pully I need to get back to least 8#s

Setup:stock bottom, ported TB, ported fast 78, stage 2 MTI 241,TR blower cam 214/230 601/579 117lsa, yella terra 1.7,old school procharger kit

A 3.00" pulley will get you about 2 lbs above your present 5-6#s

3.5 to 3.2 will get approx 3 psi. Its one tenth of an inch per pound.

a 10% change in pulley diameter is not going to get you the 35% change you are looking for.

On the stock bottom end I wouldn't go past 7 psi with the better flowing heads and cam. I'd go to a 3.40 pulley, any smaller and you may end up having belt slippage problems. Bob
