my c5 project
chromoly 6 point roll bar install, removed the drivetrain for the overhaul, and prepped the 402 shortblock for a heads & cam swap to Dart 225s and a custom Cam Motion grind.

Are you just using plates on the underside of the roll bar?Or are you welding to braces on the frame?

FYI this is a horrible location for your harness bar and shoulder belts. Hello spinal compression in an accident. It should be at shoulder height or just above.

Thanks but as per NHRA specification the harness needs to be mounted LEVEL with shoulders, to no more than 4" BELOW shoulders.
This bar is built EXACTLY to the safety specs provided in the 2008 NHRA rule book. I race and must pass tech on a NHRA sanctioned track.
The picture angle might be throwing you off.
I am vertically challenged
my shoulders are actually a touch lower than the hole in the seat.
The bar was custom built for my frame.
