I hear a fellow member here on corvette forum, is making over 700+rwhp on his stock ls6 block.
Is this true?
Im sure there are a few but then they dont come on here and talk about their driving manners either. To do it on the dyno once or twice probably won't blow your motor up but to be on it all the time your definately tossing the dice everytime. Ofcourse the tune is important too.
Rumor was he was putting down 700+ for a while. I can't remember where I heard it, I want to say it's on here. He drove the car and had a built engine to put in it, but couldnt blow the stocker.
It just popped back into my head today, I'd like some details if it's true

Not true because his block is factory untouched LS1 NOT LS6
707rwhp and 602rwt. Car has been running like that with ZERO problems with 15lbs of boost for over 6000 miles. First time on strip made a 10.8 @ 138 pass on 19" Nitto Invo tires in full street trim and I heard he is not afraid to hit the rev limiter either.

I just want to know where you are getting your information from because its SUPPOSED to be all top secret. Everything you mentioned is correct. Car is going to Dr. Phil for a forged 347 swap and yes, I could not blow my stocker. Wanna buy my stock short block?
Chris Stewart is/was at 667rwhp running a TTi X kit on stock longblock LS6. That number may have gone up this past Monday, as he was looking to hit 700hp? IMO, it's really the tq that should be looked at, anyone ever get over 717rwtq? That is the point my stock LS6 broke a ringland after being run hard for years on the spray.

I PROMISE that it wasn't me! The cat is Definitely out of the bag now huh?
You should donate that Freak of GM Engineering to the Corvette Museum or even the Smithsonian because it's just not normal!
Either that or it would make one SWEET Looking coffee table!
There was someone on here that did that with an LT5 motor (ZR1) and it was VERY COOL looking!
