Hello, I am installing the APS kit on an 02 Z06. I am on step 59 where it requires you to drill out the breather 1/4". On the back of my Left Valve cover I have a black plastic cap, and no breather. Is the breather on other years?
TIA,
Sam
LS2 valve covers have a nipple that needs to be drilled out, but snice you ahve the LS1/6 valvecovers you may be able to a fitting to push into the gromet. Just an idea.
I am considering the APS TT kit for my 04 C5 LS1. What year and model is your vette? Are you doing the install? How easy is it? How much time has it taken you? Are you adding a booster fuel pump and new injectors?
It is a time consuming install, and my lift gave out on me! I am by no means a REAL mechanic, but with the help of the great folks on this forum (AVP, SPEEDY D) and one of my best friends it has been easy. I am going with a dual pump intank setup, I already bought 60lbs injectors. So far, I am giving myself a month date to get it running again. If you need any help answering questions, feel free to ask.

FYI the LS1 PCV system has a port on the rear of the driver's side valve cover and the passenger side. For your LS6 the valve covers don't have breathers as your PCV vents from the valley cover under the intake manifold. The only port you'll have is a fresh air feed line that goes from your passenger valve cover to the throttle body.
I'm guessing the instructions are asusming LS1 valve covers?
