It should only take you like 4 hours to swap cams not 4 months....

Arun,

I'm going to send you a few cams to try then buy some stock in heli-coil when you pull all the threads out of the front cover

Sounds good dude, I'll give you a jingle sometime

Thanks guys-I probably mulled over which cam, which heads, what compression for the last 4 months-then slowly but surely tried to perfect the install with getting the brackets perfect, intercooler perfect, everything! Just gotta get some paint on the pipes and shroud and I'll start doing some tuning with the SD setup this weekend.

Then it's off to the track!

Sounds good and like I have any room to talk. It has been about 4 months for mine as well with a simple motor swap.

We are doing 4DRUSH's now, I'll put up some pics. We take the time to really get all the bars as high as possible so you cant even see it from outside the car easily. Makes it much less intrusive.

You might as well do it so you can start going to events, trust me, it is so much more fun running in events then just all out stuff. A lot more strategy and skill IMO, head games, and coming up with a game plan instead of just mash it and see what it runs. Of course it has to run the number too, but it adds a lot to the game and makes it much harder.

Actually Doug I don't like the competition at all!

I had enough of it when I was running PRO 5.0 and in TRUE STREET back in the mustang days years ago. Running 8's was more of a headache than fun 10 years ago.

Adjusting the clutch for the launch, getting the cog belts lined up 100%, changing Novi's between passes when the impellars blew up, plugs, fuel.....it never ended.

I like to just go to the track and let it hang out-if it breaks-who cares-load it back up and go home and start ordering more parts. I just like to do things at my own pace with no pressure.
