Default Procharger Bracket

I have the old style procharger kit that does not lay the radiator down. Can I upgrade my blower bracket and still use everything else?
On the dyno it would only make .7 lbs of boost and on the graph it just fluttered. The belt wrap does suck on this bracket I just want better belt wrap but want to keep everything else in place.

While the old bracket isn't the best, something is wrong if you never make any boost.

on the dyno graph the boost line just goes up and down all the way across. I may have made more but i think it was .7 at max hp.

Yes you can!

I went from the original bracket to one of the A&A brackets and everything lines up in the exact spot as before!

So if you're using the single fan with the air filter in the fan housing it'll be just a switch out with no other mods needing to be done.

Thanks,Matt

We also just came out with a new bracket for the Procharger.
You won't have any issues with that.

I can run my stock piping and it sits in the same location to I can use the single fan and air filter.

Which A&A bracket did you use? The one they have posted says it may not line up with the old style air inlet?

I did some research and I dont think im spinning the blower fast enough to feed my engine. I have a underdrive balancer 25% and a 4.25 blower pulley. Im spinning the blower almost 10,000 less than with a stock diameter balancer. It will only build 1 lb of boost, I checked all of my connections and added a 3.5" idler in place of the tiny 2.3" idler that came with the kit.

You can make the knew A&A bracket fit I just installed mine. I had major slip after 7# with the old bracket but no more with ANDY's knew bracket and this was with the old procharger kit.

Hey dont waste your money on a new bracket thats not your problem..make sure your puleys line up...you may have to shim the bracket a bit go with an 8 rib pulley if you can..get rid of the old style filter..i am still running the old style and making 15 pounds of boost...over 750 RWHP..
