Default Procharger questions

Okay in a few days I'll be installing a (used) P1 Procharger on my 2001 C5. I have a few initial questions.

1 - restrictors. Everyone says they are just a washer. Where can I find info on this so I know what washer to use with what pulley? I have a specific goal of an initial 450rwhp for specific reasons, and the rwhp will be incrementally increased as different goals are attained.

2 - Radiator drop. Where do I find info on this? The air intake goes directly over the radiator, so I need to drop mine (preferably vertically).

I'm sure I'll be asking more questions soon enough!

I just finished installing a P1SC on my 98 Vert.......I upgraded the stage one kit to a stage 2 kit available from Procharger. The kit has the new radiator cradle, intercooler tubing from the outlet Y, horn relocation kit, new intake, red hose mod kit etc..... The new kit should be good for 2 PSI over the old style system.

Definitely worth the $600.00.

Might want to try A&A's websit as they have PDF of there system install.

The use some spacers and longer bolts to drop the lower radiator support. There are some nice pictures of the install in the down loadable pdf.

Get the new bracket while they are still cheap. If you are going to get anything, pay the $500.00 and get the new brackets and tesioner from A&A.

I've got the A&A belt bracket in my setup. Just need to know what to do about the radiator.

I used the procharger cradle as the other guy stated above also. But what I was asking you if you have the NEW procharger bracket or the old style? http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=2106141 (link to new A&A bracket)

You can just cut your existing radiator cradle and move the mounts and reweld them yourself if you dont wana pay for the procharger one.

You won't need a restictor with a P1-just put on 4.25 pulley and you'll meet your goals.

Thank ya brother. I will certainly look at that restrictor and make a few since I'll end up going to a smaller pulley and restrictor.
I also downloaded a copy of the A&A setup, but it has the single FMIC instead of the crappy twins that I have. I might just order an eBay FMIC and do it myself instead of these crappy little twins.

Oh and the A&A instructions show the radiator cradle being dropped with spacers (not cut and rewelded). Is that a good or bad idea?

M6.
No cobbling here. My tuner's shop has done enough to help me just fine. I just prefer to do as much work as possible myself. I find it stupid to pay $550 for a cradle relocator when I can do it for the price of a cutoff wheel if I'm understanding correctly.

Hey man -

I just sent you a pm which has about everything said above in it. If you want, the brackets I used to lay my rad down are exposed now. I think they are just bolted in cradle. I can send you a drawing of them and you can make your own if you can't get them from Andy. Let me know if you want measurements and pics.
