We have a guy up here who is making 750 RWHP on a stock bottom end, although he is running e-85.. Although being at 5K ft of elevation probably helps as his non corrected numbers are in the hi 600's.

I'm pushing 10lbs on a stock bottom making 623/513. I'll keep it safe for now and not run 5th hard, till I have a new motor lined up. Thanks for the info guys.

I never said it couldnt be done 700+on a stock motor..

I just dont think it will last.. and what I mean by last is 25-50k miles at least! you get me?
some people only drive their car 5k a year or less and 15k or even 10k on that setup is a long time.

Like I would say a daily driven 550rwhp is very reliable and even around 600. But after that its just less and less until you reach that threshold which you are very close to already on stock compression

He's been running 700+ I believe for a year or two. So it's not like he just did it, and has only been driving it for the summer.

He also runs meth and octane booster I believe, and isn't stuck with crappy 91 octane California **** water either. Not everyone will be able to get away with it, but there are a handful who can, who also have a very good tune.

I'm not saying everyone can get away with it, but there is that 1 in a hundred or one in a thousand who might. It isn't written in stone though that EVERY bottom end will blow apart in a short time.

you do that with a stock bottom end making 700rwhp rest assured you will need a new motor soon.
Your message implied that 700+ hp could NOT be done on a stock bottom end. There's at least one member in here who proved you wrong. That's all we're saying.

What is reliability to you??? I have seen badly tuned cars with LESS than 550rwhp blowing up on the streets let alone track.

To me reliability is in the proper setup and MOST importantly in the tune and ofcourse how you drive the car. NemesisC5 is running 700rwhp like me for over 2 years. You should see how he and I drive our cars. We have never hit the rev limiters in our lives since we are on stock blocks

By the way that is FULLY BUILT forged motor in the video below

NOT!!!

I'm sure you're asking about LS1/6... But it all comes down to the set up, and MOST important, tune... 30,000 LS2 stock bottom end supercharged miles here...

761rwhp boost only...

you guys are crazy LOL

job well done guys.

I agree most of it has to do with tune but damn 750rwhp cars on stock pistons rods!

Gives me more hope.. I still have my nitrous kit on the car but havent sprayed the heads/cam setup. I was spraying the stock setup before that though with great results. Should make 650rwhp 700+rwtq on stock bottom end without a doubt.

Follow our lead with rwhp ONLY and NOT rwt! Now that is the department where you NEED to be careful

You have to be crazy to venture into the forced induction section. Isn't it a necessary evil?

God you guys are so much fun. -teary eyed-

Just for reference I am running 3.2 pulley and making 15.2lbs of boost

EDIT: Just saw your second post. Yes, using Alky single nozzle is the best. Along with Torco and M1 straight meth.

I am on the edge Jon. Stock bottom still does not blow up I am finally taking a plunge to forged bottom ONLY because I was doing 8 rib and A&A fuel system and it was "the right" thing to do while doing all that.

I will still stay around 750rwhp because that is the sweetest spot for me for the kind of driving I do.

Maybe a 100 dry shot on top too
