After a little over 2 years of work on this 402/Kenne Bell setup... here are the current results:
  • 6/19/08
  • Mustang Dyno w/ Speed Density Tune
  • OEM Goodyear Runflats
  • 684rwhp / 681rwtq
  • 13.4 # Boost

wow that is nicest KB setup on the road !! gorgeous car and with an AUTO and that kind of power you need to go to the track and break off a 9 sec run.. you will hold the record for the quickest maggie !!

man holy crap I did not know that a KB made power like that its sooo much better power band than a Turbo and Vortech. Nice setup man really nice.

I personally love that setup...its the nicest one Ive see to date. I am working on my 402 setup as we speak...motor is being built but Im running STS twins so I will be testing this "sooo much better power band than a turbo or Vortech" statement as soon as I get done and the break in period has elapsed. I dont care either way cuz if my STS doesnt give me what Im looking for I will sell it and go the other route...its all about the speed! LOL

That's sweet but the numbers seem a little low to me. I know I am running a little more boost (18 to your 13.4) than you but I have pretty much the same numbers from my 347. I can't remember how much boost Jeff was running but he was over 800/800 with his 402.

How aggressive is your tune?

His are on a mustang dyno, that may or may not be the difference

I think its cause of the auto that the numbers are low.

Jeff made 800/850 with his on 16 pounds i believe.

Auto
Mustang Dyno
13.5psi

Add a couple PSI, and a 6spd, and he's got 800/800 all day long..

Hell, I may just send him out of of out CNC inlets for ***** ang giggles to see him pick up another 40rwhp..

Great Job..

Tell Trevor and Dustin I said "Great Job"

BTW Guys, They are one of TPE's preferred inslallers/tuners in that area..
