Is this normal?

I have a tiny bit of oil in my intake tube. I was going to take it off to install a restricor plate (which i need mounting ideas for i can't just see putting it in there with out holding it some how) and i noticed a tiny bit of oil in my intake tube. Not a puddle but if you touch the tube a lining of oil gets on your finger inside. Thanks mike

Could be from a K&N filter thats oiled. That same film may be on your MAF sensor.

Where do you vent your crankcase gasses to? If you vent the gas into your air cleaner that can cause oil in the intake.
