Default Nitrous questions

I'm debating on putting a nitrous kit on mine. The one thing I want to shoot for is a clean installation with the least amount of wires, hoses, etc showing. Also, I dont know if they make those window switches with the arm switch, purge switch on the same board with "Corvette" or "Z06" written on it. The car is a track/show car and wanted to make it look like it came with it from the factory. Is there a window switch like a just explained and is there a nitrous kit that will hide itself well but still provide a 100-150 shot. I've read something also with having a plastic intake like mine a vararam, that a wet kit is potentially more dangerous than a dry. Can you guys give me some good feedback. Thanks.

both wet and dry have thier pros and cons. i personally run a nitrous outlet plate kit and love it (imo, looks the cleanest). if you are looking for a show quality install, look no further than beer's setup. he is also the one that makes those sweet switch panals. if you want an all in one control box trick is the way to go. they have a few different models that range anywhere from a small window/wot switch to the v and p models that fit in the gauge pods.

For the switchplate contact Beer on this forum. He custom makes them to fit your needs and as a matter of fact I think he's even running a sale on them.

As far as the window switch, what kind of features are you looking for? We offer the MicroEDGE unit which is pretty feature packed that doesn't carry a huge price tag. It also features a nice read out face that could be set up to view a few inputs such as a/f, voltage, tps voltage, etc.

I also personally feel that a plate is one of the better looking installs. Ours can be configured as either a dry or wet plate kit. Here is a link to our install gallery. There are a few links up there for both in-house installs and customer installs. If you're looking for that custom touch to your install, also take a look at the Brute Force line up...with these kits you can customize your hoses with the many color options we offer on the end fittings and coverings.

If you have any questions please feel free to ask. Thanks.

Thanks Guys,

HSW has some really cool electronics and products now that were not available when I put my system together. If your showing you MUST look at the HSW custom hoses, available in different colors/sizes, custom made (check out their website). I wanted all -4 hoses for my Dry system and they hooked me up with a sweet Y block to -4 AN hoses to my Dry nozzles (-3 AN end of hose to -3 AN Nozzles on one end).

Give them a nick/matt a call at HSW. If you need a custom panel I will be home 21 st of Nov, and can churn one out in a day or two.
