Default Performance Improvement Suggestions

Please see my signature for current mods / performance. I am looking to pick up a bit more performance looking for low 11's. Lingenfelter advises I am close to being "maxed out" with the M112 S/C and would need to swap out to a M122 if I went with heads or stroker crank- I have no intentions to do that. I am running 6.5 lbs boost so I could up that a bit with a pulley. Would I need water/alcohol injection? Is there some sort of intercooler that would give cooler charge over the "stock" Magnuson set up? Any other things to consider?

I want to stay conservative and not risk blowing up the stock internals save the cam and springs. I have no interest in adding NOS.

Thanks in advance!

These would be my suggestions.

http://www.eastcoastsupercharging.co..._balancer.html

http://www.eastcoastsupercharging.co...tensioner.html
(we presently are having a sale on these)

http://www.eastcoastsupercharging.co...hol%20Kit.html

That would get you a fair amount more power, and keep you happy for a while. Feel free to call the shop tomorrow if you have any questions.

You can also overdrive the 112. I had a 112 overdriven with a 2.9 pulley up front on a 402 making 14 psi on a GTO.

You can easily push that blower to 10psi. Go to Magnuson's website and look at the temperature output charts for these blowers before you push it any higher than that. I have spoken with an engineer at Magnuson about this very thing. 10psi is the max I would do after my research. One thing the Maggies love is a small shot of nitrous. John Page at 21st Century Muscle Cars has done a handful of 75 shots on these Maggies producing 600/600 at the wheels. That will get you cookin in Crisco!

You don't have to sell nothing!!! With my 112 maggie I have made 600rwh and 700rwt with 15lbs of boost. I am now making 18lbs of boost on my 402ci. Look at my signature.

FunCool,

You are my hero.

I note you are running a fully "built" motor.

What do you estimate is the maximum boost on my "almost stock" LS1 with / without meth injection? What sort of RWHP could I expect?

I don't know if I'm a hero, but maybe a maggie king!!!!! I think what your asking is how much boost can you run with out meth, is that right? Well you can run a 3.0 pulley ( 8-10lbs of boost )and should go 125-126mph in the 1/4 mile, about 480rwh. With a cam and meth 500rwh is easy.

If you are already running a small pulley in front, how much more boost do you see by going with the larger crank pulley?

When I put a bigger crank pulley from E.C.S I gained 2 to 3lbs of boost.
