Oil cap hose options
When I first installed my s/c I had the oil cap hose going to my air filter top. I noticed a little bit of oil on the fitting at oil filter end and I didnt like the idea of any oil vapors being sucked through the intercooler and hurting efficiency or forming on my MAF wires as well so I put a breather on the end of the hose instead and set it way down at bottom of nose area so I get no vapor smell at all in the car.
So whats everyone doing now? Cap hose going to air filter lid to scavenge a little bit out of system and reburn or not?
I have 47K on the engine and it burns very little oil (maybe 1/4 qt every 2K), so I have no complaints so not sure if im helping or hurting crankcase pressures/scavenging either way the hose is routed.
