more boost

Worse case scenario: More air and less fuel will create a lean condition and will melt your pistons and rings.
When you add more air to the motor especially Forced Induction (as compared to NA) and you do not supply fuel to it then it will run extremely "HOT" - air added to flames (Internal combustion) will increase the heat and explosivness therfore "DETONATING" and blowing the motor.
It's like what my friend did with his Nitrous - he had a few drinks in the pit area with his car and he asked me to run his car for him, I agreed but in no way am I taking responsibility for a blown motor - agreed! - I did a nice pass and pulled into the pits and he said that was awesome, then he popped the hood and unbenounced to me he installed bigger Nitrous jets(He wanted to see it go faster) - He also neglected to install the extra fuel jets (Left them at home) and did not tell me and he asked me to run it again.
so at this point I take it down the track and "B@@M" - there was no way the motor's fuel system, injectors, MAF or anything could compensate for the extra 75 HP jets he installed!
Thus a loss of a good motor! REMEMBER Nitrous is Forced Induction

Get a re-tune
you'll be glad you did in the long run
Thanks,Matt
