Default ECS fuel system help?

I'm about to install an ECS fuel system on my 04Z and was wondering if anyone has a drawing of the layout? Overall, I have a general idea of where everything goes, but I'm little confused about the connections up front by the rails. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

although I dont have a layout, I do remember reading a thread recently, and it had some pretty great layout pictures. It was somewhere in the C5 section.

I'd do a search for ECS Fuel System, and you will find it... Just make sure you make it look in "Titles Only". Dont do a search wich "Search all posts". Cause if you do, he thread will get buried based on the amount of times ECS is mentioned.

Good Luck..

I put this together to better understand the layout for this system. Basically I need to route the lines front to back. Some questions i have:

1. Where does the out from the rear passenger rail go to?

2. Does the feed line from the pump go directly to the regulator?

3. Where does the y-fitting on the drivers side out go to?

1. Where does the out from the rear passenger rail go to?

Mine goes under the intake just behind the throttle body and connects to the regulator

2. Does the feed line from the pump go directly to the regulator?

The pressure line goes through the fuel rails then through the regulator

3. Where does the y-fitting on the drivers side out go to?

the Y fitting is the pressure line (on the firewall), the 2 lines go to the fuel rail, one to each at the aft connection.

Feel free to call the shop if you still have questions, there are so many different ways it can be laid out depending on your set up that it is difficult to make a set instruction package. Mike04's install was very clean if I recall and should fit with your set up as well.

Was on the phone with Doug today and got everything sorted out, thanks! I did however run into another problem and possibly a dangerous one. One of the connectors that attaches to the stock hard tube fuel line comes off very easily. Its suppose to click in place which it does, but you can easily pull it off with your hand. I wouldn't want it coming off and spraying fuel on a hot engine This is the fitting I'm referring to:

I tried another new identical fitting and it did the same thing. However, when tried on a older fuel rail it wouldn't come off without prying it. Has anyone had this happen to them? Is there any other connector I could use or can someone suggest any ideas?

Thanks

Not sure if the line is a different size than the fuel rail but I know they make those plastic pieces in different sizes.

Yes I believe they are available in 3/8" and 5/16", the second would be the correct size.
