Default Fuel feed size

Hey guys,

What size fuel supply are you 700+ rwhp guys running? When I bought my ECS fuel kit, they said if I run a big in-tank pump, I will be good to 1000+ rwhp. My supply is 6an. I am not looking to make 1000000 rwhp, but I do want to tune for e85. How do you think my setup will work, well or not so well:

Thanks!

You'll need at least a -8 or what I'm doing, dual -6 feed lines.

I dumped my dual -6 feeds for a single -8. Its less cluttered and will support over 1000rwhp.

damn it....i knew you guys were going to say that!! LOL

I am wanting to "Y" the feed to the back of the fuel rails and do a return "Y" to the regulator. So, if I do a -8an feed to a -6an y to split, would that be ok? I think the return would be fine with the -6an.

That will work just fine. Why not just do a -8 feed in, loop the rails and a -6 or -8 out?

I know space isnt an issue, if I was able to do that with a kenne bell, you can do it with ANYTHING!

I don't think I am going to touch my return side. I think that will be ok as it is (-6an).

My return is a -6 and it works out well.

The only reason I went from -8 to dual -6 feed is RSI's kit made it real easy to do so, and two -6 is more fuel than one -8.

My setup before was just how you described. We had a Y out of the tank into -8, then a Y to dual -6 for the rails. The rails Y to the regulator and then back to the tank with -6.

So you are using two fuel filters?

Yup.

And remote mounting the regulator is looks only IMO.

Here's the best picture I have from under the hood. It's older but the fuel lines and regulator are the same.

I don't have that type of space but that looks somewhat like what I am going to do. I have to figure out where/what to do with the regulator in my setup.
