I have a forged 346 LS6 with a Paxton Novi. LG longtubes, HF cats, stock catback with cutouts. If I remember correctly there was about a 5 RWHP difference between running them open or closed. That's on the dyno at Canadian Performance.

I run stock Z06 catback's how bout you??
Man you are brutal
Sorry back to the topic....
I had a 346 cu,Vortech, LG Pro,X-pipe,no cats
abunch of bolt on's and
I had 822rwhp/754torq.
I ran Corsa catback's which was F'n loud so how bout you??
I had the stock Ti's with my A&A procharged Z, (657 rwhp) with LG long tubes, hi flow cats and it sounded good. I wanted some larger tips, so I removed the stock system and installed GHL bullets, just for the larger tips. It is so much louder than it was and at times almost draws too much attention, but that was the trade off for wanting larger 4" tips.
If i could have welded new 4" stainless tips to the titanium exhaust i would have went that route.
Don't get me wrong it sounds great, it's just on the louder side of the scale.
So I quess everybody is wrong in the General, stock catbacks
do not produce enough back preasure (to change them).
Thank you!!! I quess I was right.
I have seen some very impressive numbers from the FI crowd.

Yeah lots of opinions right! The stock exhaust enough to support alot of power. For me I wanted more noise at the track because even though it ran fast, it was soooo quiet. I swapped to Borla Stinger and picked up alot of power, mostly because the backpressure change threw off the balance of my turbo wastegate and generated more boost as a result. It was a win/win!
