Had the crank on my 1997 pinned last week, need advice as to what centrifugal supercharger kit to purchase. What kit needs the least amount of modifications to install, don't want to cut up shrouds to make clearences for air ducts etc. I do not like the idea of using engine oil for lubricating supercharger so prefer self contained. My car is stock LS1 with M6. Would like to keep horsepower about 450-500 at the wheels. Any advice from members of this forum who have installed different supercharger kits would be greatly appreciated and helpful.
Regards Marty
We feel our kit is a pretty straight foward install. We provide a whole new lower radiator support that bolts right in. No need to cut or modify the factory one. Feel free to call me if you have any questions. Here is a link as well to the kit on our site...
A&A, ECS and Exotic Performance Plus cover all of the centrifugal superchargers available, which are Vortech, Paxton and Procharger respectively. Each offers a self contained unit and all are more than capable of supporting your desired horsepower levels.

I've installed the ECS and factory Vortech kits. Both required a little cutting of shrouds. IMHO the ECS kit was well worth it, not so for the Vortech. The Vortech will be closer to the HP numbers you're looking for.
(ECS would have to make a restictor plate with a smaller hole to go that low.)
