I have a Diablo Predator. It has many functions, one of which is to see IAT. It's not as easy as a pod mounted gauge, but it does allow for monitoring of IATs as well as knock retard.
No gauge. I use HPtuners to monitor all the necessary parameters. If it's tuned properly, there is a table that will pull timing progressively if the IAT's or ECT's rise beyond the threshold.
With my Kenne Bell normal driving my AIT stays around 135-145 (timing at about 16) if when we were dyno tuning it got up to about 165-170 (timing retards back to 12)
