I was wondering if anyone runs guages to monitor IAT.

Do you have to install an aftermarket sensor / guage?

Does anyone find it useful?

I have a non intercooled maggie along with Meth is there anything else to help with IAT?

Just a thought as it is going to get REALLY HOT soon in N Cal.

I have a Diablo Predator. It has many functions, one of which is to see IAT. It's not as easy as a pod mounted gauge, but it does allow for monitoring of IATs as well as knock retard.

Good luck,
Ray

Dont get yourself caught up in IAT's. It will make you start staying out of the throttle cause you see them rise.

Just make sure your tune is set accordingly, and pulling the proper timing for the IAT's, and you will be just fine.

No gauge. I use HPtuners to monitor all the necessary parameters. If it's tuned properly, there is a table that will pull timing progressively if the IAT's or ECT's rise beyond the threshold.

With my Kenne Bell normal driving my AIT stays around 135-145 (timing at about 16) if when we were dyno tuning it got up to about 165-170 (timing retards back to 12)
