Default New to Nitrous

Alright Mods are Hurricain CAI and 1 7/8s ARH 3 x-pipe no cats
I am hopeing to put down close 400 rwhp with the above mods. 03Z

I was leaning to a blower but I am getting really interested in Nitrous.

Now I dont want to blow my motor that is my number one concern.
So what is the safest kit to get? How much do I have to molest my interior? What is the average install price and kit price?

I just think it would be cool to have 400rwhp and if I want more it is a switch away and it would be an awsome feeling to give a new Z a surprize.

Sorry for the newbie questions Ive never even thought I would be thinking about nitrous

Your probably putting down some good numbers now with the mods. A baby shot of 75 would get you to the 400 point.
Running a mainly stock motor with a 125 wet ZEX shot and putting out 470 on the dyno, 1/4 mile times are around 12.00. the motor will handle it just fine.
That is just my situation and opinion though, get some others before you figure out what you want to do.
There are a few things you must do if running spray, a bottle heater is as must, keeps a constant pressure, as is a window switch, so you can control the RPM's that the nitrous comes on at.
Oh yea, use colder plugs to, I run the TR-55's with no issues.

Goodluck, questions, ask!
Chris

If u r thinking about nitrous i got dynotune nitrous plate wet system, and apart from that i do have gauges, purge, filter, safety switch, NGK TR7 cold plugs, A pillar 3 pod, bottle heater, Window switch this one u really need it, switch panel which goes to where ur cig lighter is ..............everything brand new sealed.

Only thing is this plate system was 90mm, but since i did not have 90mm TB so i exchanged with another forum member his 78mm plate (NOS), thats it..... I guarantee u it will work.
I never installed on C5 but i did have on my previous C4 and i installed on that car, so dont know where u live in canada, if u r close to Toronto i can help u install in a very safe way.

My plan to have 425-440 Rwhp and i got H/C package ready to be installed, so need some money for new clutch.

Pm me for details and heck of a deal from canuck bro.

Canda204, i have the same mods as you and plan on adding a wet kit to my setup, i just want that extra power if i feel the need wth just intake and exhaust i went 11.71et at 117mph so with the addition of nitrous i would hope to be in the low 11s high 10s depending on the jet size.
goodluck and there is plenty of write up's on here of nitrous install and the various setups.
