Well guys, I really like the new Maggie 2.3L setup. Im impressed with its off-idle to topend powerband. My friend has one on his G8 GXP and its pretty insane. I was thinking of keeping my heads but lowering cmpression to 10.5:1 or so, keep my exhaust with my stock block and running 7lbs of boost with a similar cam to the one I have but 115lsa. (228/234 115lsa) What do you guys think? Safe boost? I want the bottom end to hold a little longer till I get a forged setup. Of course, I'll have a good tune. Opinions? Should I be close to the 600rwhp mark?

I doubt you will be at 600rwhp with 7psi. Also you probley don't need a cam quite that big.

What would be a good cam to use? I need at least 100-150rwhp more than now (450rwhp) to justify the spending to me. Im thinking of running boost low enough to not blow the motor too soon. Any suggestions on safe boost levels for this kind of setup? I was thinking 7 and working my way up as I see how the car handles it.
