I* have just bought a 98 coupe . It has a novi 2000 with intercooler . My question is it has no wide ban* the previous owner just has* fule pressure and boost* should i run a wide ban . My friends r scaring me . i just want it to be as safe as possible . i hear they have lean problem on # 7 . any advise
If your not sure who did the original tune, I would take it to ECS and have them go over the tune. You also might want to add a alky kit for extra safety.

The 1st day after I purchased my blown FRC I took it to my tuner.
IT was originaly purchased at ESC and tuned there 3 years ago .
I would have it checked 3 years ago is a long time especially for someone not to tinker with it. Nothing is full proof on these cars but if your AFR and timing is good it should survive depending how you drive it.
I dont drive it to hard . And thanks every one im gonna take ur advise i called ECS they told me to bring it by they would check it for me . thank s jon

Sounds like a plan. It's good insurance to make sure the tune is still good and have everything else checked out such as couplers, hoses and belt.
