I am sorry for the noob question. But my future plans are FI A&A kit I just cant budget it right now.
So I am interested in possibaly putting a cam in now if I can gain some HP for now and also gain some HP
after the blower is installed over a stock cam. So I gues simply will a FI cam give me some extra power right now withought having a blower?
Generaly what is the differance with a Big NA cam to a Blower Cam?
Good question man! I have a lot to learn still but from what I understand a big N/A cam usually has to be just that- BIG! This gives up some midrange power but makes up for it up top. Since higher boost is usually made at higher rpms you can go much smaller and keep your midrange power and let the boost fill in your top end needs
BTW, I will be selling an ECS blower cam in the next few weeks, if you are interested
Feel free to give us a call and I will be happy to explain the dfferences with you. Our Blower cam works very well by itself and will be perfect when you install the A&A blower kit down the road.
