Default i think i got it?

i have been struggling with a number of issues on my ptk style twin turbo kit.air and water to make it simple.
for air i cut the crap out of a perfectly good hood.now the heat can get out a bit better.with a cut job on the bumper cover and a screen insert and cold air from the hood temps while moving are better.in addition we added a 29x16 x3"two row by Howe.bigger hoses,elec.12" fans and a blocker shroud.the mix is 1 gal. Dex,3gal. dist water and two bottles water wetter.yes 4+gal. over stock 2.95.with a/c of 184-196 under boost.a/c on 205-217 or so.with a/c on at idle the temp creeps to 230 after 30 min when 90 deg out.i am sure the heat shook will clime up even more.i am happy with this for now.come to find the fans are only 1250 cfm each.i believe 4000+cfm is the key to the puzzle.
at night 70 deg or so with a/c off it runs like a raped ape.i have some 30/35 Hoosier dot tires for it but i have been driving daily, hard not to spin dry.
i picked up a chassis dyno ,as the only way i will solve the tune issues around here is to do it my self.so i am building a fifth wheel set up and going to tuner school, probably hp tuners?not sure yet.

over all i have learned a bunch, more than i wanted.a member just had his built by nick yoskin and chris.he was here to visit last week and it looked nice.this is the way i would have gone if it were available when i started.

Right on

I was kinda in the same boat, I had some cooling issues (Had the original P1SC-1 Fan Shroud combo ) and I went to a 16" pulling fan and a 12" pushing fan and took the Tranny lines out of the radiator and then temps are so low I can't believe it.

I also made my own scope to grab the air underneath the Vette

Thanks,Matt

Mike, are you saying you were unhappy with the results of the tuning you paid for, so you bought a chassis dyno???

That's sick man! Just sick!

I'm curious as to how you pitched that one to the wife!

Props to you man!

Default sick?

first i would like to see the scoop.

sick?,
you bet.
i started with a predator and a cmr tune with sts.then a mail order tune that just was not right, to be far i was not charged.next i spent three months with HP tuner pro and on line tunes with there forum .after a year of trying to get our local guy RWT,met a vette costumer at his place while on a four hour sit in waiting for a appointment.this fellow suggested xxx motor sports in Pensacola.
been three times, second time 6K in fire damage, and still i have stall and surge issue.on top off that my rear bumper is black from being too rich.
it is drivable but not dialed in.the tuner sold out his part of the company.
so what i am saying is if you need to tune a ls car in mobile GOOD LUCK!!!

the wife just wants me to do something besides hang around the housei have a plan to build a fifth wheel mobile dyno,go to tune school and start a real dyno/tune buisness all on the premise of a cheap way for everyone to sweep twice for 60 bucks or so.a tune will be more but cheaper than what i have gone threw.
bottom line is this is my first ls car and building it was only the beginning.
