Performance questions on a LS1
Hey guys, i want to hear some suggestions and thoughts on what you suggest should be the next move. My set up for now is as follows:
LS1, Kooks 1 7/8" -LT w/ hi flo cats, Z06 intake,4:10 gears, 6 speed, Vararam, Comp cam 273/277 220/224 w/112 degree sep., stock injectors. Currently @ 361 rwhp and 356 torque.
I just purchased a set of AFR 205cc used heads with very few miles on them and a almost new set of FoMoCo 40 lb injectors.
Do I need to have anything in particular to the used heads prior to installing? Would you recommend a safe 100 shot N2 as well? This should get me to close to 500 rwhp correct? I have a 2 piece timing cover so changing to a more aggresive cam is easy.
All suggestions and lessons learned are appreciated!

as far as what? your build will net you the gains your looking for, hell the nitrous alone can get you there... I ran a cam only LS1 WS6 and some other bolt ons and had 400hp N/A then added a shot of gas and had over 500hp..with the right h/c combo you cna get close to 450hp and a shot of gas over 550 is possible

Heads will do you good and they are a good choice!
A shot of the Nitrous will get you where you want to be but make sure that you have it all Dyno Tuned first with the new parts Heads and 40lb Injectors, then add the Nitrous and have it tuned for it
